WVAIA presents Wilderness Medicine
Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is a course for the outdoor enthusiast or trip leader who wants a bsic leve of first air training for short trips with family, friends, and outdoor groups. It meets American Camp Association guidelines.
What Is Taught?
The WFA Course if 16 hors long (2 Days) and focuses on the basic skills of Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental Emergencies, Survival Skills, Soft Tissue Injuries, & Medical Emergencies.
