Valley Chop house - new year’s eve dinner
Ring in the New Year at the Valley Chop House on Tuesday, Dec. 31. Reservations are required. Doors open at 7 p.m. There will be a variety of appetizers. Dinner will be served at 9 p.m. with a choice of Chilean Sea Bass or Slow Roasted Prime Rib. A vegetarian option is available upon request. A decadent dessert follows and at 11:59 p.m. enjoy a champagne toast to welcome in 2025. The cost is $125 per person and includes gratuity. A cash bar will be available. Waterville Valley Resort proudly welcomes the return of the Freestyle World Cup on January 24-25th, 2025! As the birthplace of freestyle skiing, Waterville Valley Resort will host the world’s most talented freestyle mogul skiers for a second time as they complete for gold. The 2025 World Cup will take place on Lower Bobby's Run, a beloved double-black diamond run spanning 246 meters long with a pitch of 28 degrees. This eastern-facing course is perfect for mogul-style events, especially considering the expansive viewing area towards the bottom of the run.
This prestigious event marks Waterville's second time hosting a Freestyle World Cup event, you won’t want to miss out on the competition of a lifetime!

Join the Grand Gobbler and his Flock of Fine Feathered, Fowl Friends for the 12th Annual Cold Turkey Plunge to Benefit Waterville Valley Adaptive Sports on Saturday November 30th at Corcoran Pond in beautiful Waterville Valley, NH. As always, your efforts will be rewarded with an official Plunge Shirt, and other incentives and goodies! Prizes will be awarded for the most funds raised (team & individual) and the best costume (team & individual). Costumes are encouraged but optional. Having fun is not optional, it is required!
Santa arrives soon after the Plunge and the Town Square will be rocking and decorated for a fantastic holiday season kick-off. It is always a "don't miss" event!
All Plungers are required to raise a minimum of $50 in donations.

Wilderness First Aid Class
WILDERNESS FIRST AID CLASS

Come join us for a hands-on Wilderness First Aid course with WVAIA on November 2nd & 3rd. This is a course for the outdoor enthusiast or trip leader who wants a basic level of first aid training for short trips with family, friends, and outdoor groups. It meets American Camp Association guidelines.
What Is Taught?
The WFA Course is 16 hours long (2 days) and focuses on the basic skills of Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental Emergencies, Survival Skills, Soft Tissue Injuries & Medical Emergencies.
Who Is Teaching?

Parents, there is an age group for you too! Advance registration required (Members: Free, Guests: $5).

Everyone is invited - you, your staff, your guests, and community members. There will be music provided by the legendary Stas, an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, introduction of the WVRA board, a brief business meeting with presentations, a winter vacation drawing, and recognition of the Fab Five...
Joan Sweeney, Therese Enos, Lisa Dutto, Jean Brosseau aka ‘Mean Jean,’ and Sarah Salivonchik will be honored with commendations for their work in Waterville Valley. They will receive their awards, make remarks, and then the music and socializing will continue with Stas.

Native wildlife ambassadors will inform and inspire children, adults, and families alike. Animal Encounter Events take place every Sunday (and select Mondays) this summer, beginning at 10am under the tent.

Waterville's 2nd Annual Schwendi Fest is taking place on October 13th! This mountain-top extravaganza celebrates the stunning foliage season while looking ahead to ski season! Enjoy a scenic chairlift ride up Tecumseh Express and treat yourself to a Schwendi Hutte BBQ, and drinks. There will be plenty of family-friendly games and activities -water balloon launches, treasure hunts, musical chairs, and more! We'll be firing up the Schwendi Hutte BBQ, grilling burgers, hot dogs, and bratwursts! Hot apple cider (spiked and unspiked), beer, and wine will be available for purchase. If you're staying in the valley, you can hop on the resort trolley and ride it up to the ski resort!
Wear a cozy sweater, sip on some hot apple cider, bring the kids to paint pumpkins, and take in mountainous foliage views, all from 3,600’ elevation. Whether you’re looking to leaf-peep, enjoy quality family time, or simply sit on the Schwendi Hutte deck and crack open a cold one - there’s no better place to spend your long weekend!

SKIP THE LINES - PICK UP YOUR SCHWENDI FEST TICKETS AHEAD OF TIME!
Skip the lines and pick up your ticket ahead of time! Stop by the Waterville Valley Resort Welcome Center and pick up your Schwendi Fest tickets! Tickets will be available for pickup Friday (10/4) - Saturday (10/12) at the Welcome Center. Beginning Sunday (10/13), tickets will ONLY be available for pickup at the Ski Resort Ticket Window. Once you pick up your tickets from the Welcome Center, you can head straight to the lift on Sunday!
SEATING
Seating may be limited - we encourage you to bring picnic blankets (no lawn chairs will be allowed on the chairlift).
ADULT BEVERAGES
Please be aware that, in accordance with the New Hampshire Liquor Commission rules & regulations, outside alcohol cannot be consumed at the summit. Given this rule is a stipulation of our liquor liscene, we will be strictly enforcing this policy. Coolers will not be allowed on the chairlift. You'll be able to purchase alcoholic beverages from the Schwendi Hutte. If you're planning on enjoying some adult beverages during Schwendi Fest, please remember to bring your government-issued I.D.

5K road race in the heart of Waterville Valley. Mostly flat, out and back course.
RACE START TIME: 9:30am
10 MILE TRAIL RACE
10 Mile Trail Race Looking for a scenic and challenging fall trail race in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest? During peak foliage, you will be treated to a combination of forested single and double track trails. Start in Town Square and head over to Snow’s Mountain, work your way up to the top of the chair lift for amazing views of Mt. Tecumseh & Mt. Osceola. Enjoy the mostly downhill stretch for the next several miles, smaller roller coaster hills keep it interesting for the remainder of the race. Finish with a loop around the pond, bringing you back to the heart of Town Square. The annual Fall Foliage Fest will be in full swing to add to your celebrations! Register soon, the 2024 10 mile race is capped at 75 runners

1 Mile out and back course starting at the ice arena, down Village Rd., right onto Snow's Brook Rd., turn around at a cone near Osceola Rd. and come back.

CATCH THE CHURCH CHAIR WITH US ON SNOW’S MOUNTAIN FOR A MOUNTAIN-TOP NON-DENOMINATIONAL CHURCH SERVICE!
Guests will load the chair between 8:30am-8:50am and the service will begin once the last guest arrives at the summit (9am). Guests will then have the option to ride the lift down or hike down after the service.
