THE REY CULTURAL CENTER PRESENTS:
THERE FOR BEAR
A FUNDRAISER FOR KILHAM’S BEAR CENTER
GUEST SPEAKERS: Ben Kilham, Founder of Kilham’s Bear Center & Andrew Timmons, Bear Project Leader, NH Fish and Game
The Kilham Bear Center, a home for orphaned cubs.
Ben Kilham is the champion of the North American black bear and has often been referred to as the Jane Goodall of the bear world. His work studying and living with black bears at his facility in Lyme, NH, has uncovered many new insights and has laid aside many misconceptions about bears in general.
Please join the Waterville Valley community for an evening with Ben Kilham and Andrew Timmins from New Hampshire Fish and Game as they describe their partnership in rescuing and rehabilitating the increasing number of orphaned black bear cubs in our state and beyond.
Find out about Waterville Valley's very own orphaned bear, Ossie, now residing at Ben's Center. And learn about what you, as a local resident, can do to better understand the nature of bears and bear/human interaction.
All ticket proceeds will go to Kilham's Bear Center.
TICKET INFO: Ticket prices are $25 for base entry, $50 for entry and bear swag, and $100 for entry, swag, and more. Tickets are tax-deductible.
