As summer brings longer days and lush greenery to the White Mountains, summer also brings out the best in Waterville Valley. With captivating activities, fabulous lodging, sensational dining, and marvelous shopping - Waterville Valley has so much to offer. Here are our top 4:

Water-fun in Waterville

Ever wonder how Waterville Valley got its name? Take a look around during the summertime – you’ll discover a Valley that’s teeming with natural water sources. From mountain brooks to alpine ponds, and, of course, the famous Mad River - Waterville Valley has a plethora of natural swimming spots.

Dive into the crystal-clear waters of the Cascades Falls, or grab a tube and float around stream-fed Corcoran's Pond. Or hike up to the Waterville Flume after a heavy rainstorm. Erosion from Flume Brook has worn down and smoothed out this granite riverbed, providing a fun, natural waterslide in high water periods.

 Kids Rule

Generations of families have flocked to Waterville Valley - to not simply vacation – but also to let their kids just be kids. Here in the Valley, kids spend their summer days playing together, discovering new activities, and exploring the Great Outdoors.

Youngsters gather at our free weekly kid-centric events - Outdoor Movies on Packard's Field and The Animal Encounter Series. If you stop by the Gaga Pit at Packard's Field, you'll discover a plethora of children - both locals and visitors - playing together without a screen in sight. Whether they're engaging in a rousing game of gaga, climbing around the playground, or kicking a soccer ball around Packard's Field - Waterville Valley makes it easy for kids to have fun, make new friends, and forget about their phones and tablets.
