Join Waterville Valley Recreation Department on Packards Field for inflatables, music, relay races, dunk tank, tie dye, mini-golf and more! Stop by Tartaglia’s food truck for something good! This event is held rain or shine.

Paddle your buoyant brown and silver vessel to glory in the Waterville Valley Recreation Department August classic. Using only cardboard and duct-tape, your team will be competing for the chance to have your name etched in history on the base of the highly-coveted Ugotta Regatta golden trophy! Join us at Packard’s Field for the 6th Annual Chalk Fest, hosted by the Waterville Valley Recreation Department - come to view some asphalt masterpieces or come create one of your own! Also, take some spins around the Balance Bike Rider Rally track, run through the Jungle Trek & Caution Run obstacle courses, and test your aim at Battle Axes and the Pig Race!
Inflatables, music, Balance Biker Rider Ralley, and lots of family fun!

Go all out this year! Dress up in your Halloween best and walk the stage at the infamous Waterville Valley Recreation Department Halloween Costume Contest! WVRD judges will present awards to multiple age groups in a number of categories like: Scariest Costume, Best Duo Costume, Funniest Costume, Most Original - and more! Parents, there is an age group for you too! Advance registration required (Members: Free, Guests: $5).
All participants will receive a treat bag with registration and a map of participating locations for trick or treating!

National Night Out

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. Join in a night of celebration sponsored by the towns of Campton, Thornton, Waterville Valley, Plymouth, and Ashland!

4TH OF JULY PARADE

The Waterville Valley Independence Day Parade is like no other. Join the Waterville Family on your bike, scooter or feet and walk the parade OR watch from anywhere along the parade route. Waterville Valley businesses and community members create and decorate floats in a friendly competition for the highly coveted Spirit Cup! *Advanced registration required for parade floats.
