
COMMUNITY EVENT SPONSORSHIP FORM
The Waterville Valley Resort Association (WVRA) has established a Community Event Sponsorship fund to help support local organizations hosting activities, events, and programs that benefit and enhance the Waterville Valley community, or may help promote Waterville Valley. Complete the application below to see if you qualify for the Community Event Sponsorship and an award of up to $500.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Applications must be submitted at least six (6) weeks prior to event date.
Eligible community events, regardless of membership status in WVRA, may be awarded up to $500.
Terms and Conditions for Funding
The applicant will receive fifty percent (50%) of the requested funding upon agreement. This upfront payment will be issued after the signing of the agreement and as per the conditions outlined in the agreement.
The remaining fifty percent (50%) of the requested funding will be paid contingent upon the fulfillment of the following promotional and reporting requirements:
Promotional Requirements:
The applicant will include the Visit Waterville Valley logo on all event signage, promotional materials (including but not limited to print, digital, and social media platforms.), and event-related print collateral.
This sponsorship acknowledgment must be prominently displayed and clearly visible in accordance with the branding guidelines provided by Visit Waterville Valley.
The applicant will feature Visit Waterville Valley in a special sponsor post on their social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, prior to, during, or after the event.
The applicant is required to provide verbal acknowledgment of "Sponsored by Visit Waterville Valley" during the event, such as through event announcements or speeches.
Reporting Requirements:
The applicant will provide the funding organization with a comprehensive recap of the event, including but not limited to the number of attendees, key outcomes, and promotional reach (social media impressions, media coverage, etc.). If the recap is not provided within a reasonable timeframe after the event, the funding organization reserves the right to inquire and request the necessary information. Failure to provide this information may delay or prevent the release of the second payment.
