Celebrate the 4th of July at Waterville Valley

The festivities are about to begin here at Waterville Valley for the 4th of July celebration! All are welcome to join in the fun and participate in the old-fashioned Independence Day Hometown Parade. The kids can decorate their bikes and scooters, and cars and floats can join the line-up. Spectators gather in the Town Square to watch the parade which begins at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 4th, 2019.

In the evening, visitors can pack their coolers or grab dinner in Waterville Valley’s Town Square and enjoy a free outdoor concert with the Bob Pratte Band from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The day ends with a bang as Waterville Valley hosts a spectacular fireworks show over Corcoran Pond starting at 9:30 p.m.

On Friday, July 5, don’t miss a family-friendly outdoor Movie Night on Corcoran Pond Beach starting at 8:30 p.m. Bring the whole family to Town Square for the Independence Day Family Carnival on Saturday, July 6. There will be inflatable games, face painting, patriotic-themed crafts, live music and more. On Sunday, July 7, at 10:00 a.m., a wildlife ambassador from the Squam Lakes Natural Science Center will host an Animal Encounter program, ‘Animals with Bad Reputations’.  Additional family activities and concerts will be happening throughout the weekend.

Guests who book overnight stays at participating lodging properties receive a Freedom Pass which provides access to canoe and kayak rentals, tennis, golf, bike rentals, the White Mountain Athletic Club’s aquatic and fitness center, scenic chairlift rides up Snows Mountain, and complimentary trolley rides – a $100+ value per person, per day.
