Pound for pound Waterville Valley has some of the best colored leaves in the world. From the amazing Maple reds, to Birch yellows and the vibrant oranges of the Beech Waterville Valley has them all. 

Located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest the experience starts from the highway exit. The approach to Waterville Valley along the Mad River is as good a fall foliage experience as most people would want, but once you get to the village of Waterville Valley you’ll understand why so many people come experience fall’s colors.

So Much To Do

There is so much to do in Waterville Valley for the entire family that you can keep going from morning to night and never stop. If you want to. Or you can just relax and enjoy the surroundings unspoiled wilderness and 4000 foot peaks. 

Hike on the 1st trail established trail network in America. For over 100 years outdoor enthusiasts have been coming to Waterville Valley hike our over 125 miles of trails. Waterfalls, vistas, wooded paths and great peaks are all waiting for the hearty or just slightly adventurists. 

Make a day of it by journeying to the coast on New Hampshire, further into the mountains or through the lakes region. Do some apple picking, antiquing, horseback riding or just enjoy the views. Waterville valley is central to all of New Hampshire. 

Once you get here you will realize why people for years have considered the Valley to be the Fall Foliage Capital of the World.
